HOW TO MAKE RED LIME PICKLE?

Limes - cut into 4 pieces - 24 nos
Red Chilly Powder - 1 cup ( Pickle masala powder can also be used, in that case avoid all other ingredients)

Ginger - 2" piece - 1

Garlic - 30-35 cloves

Mustard - 1 table spoon

Methi - 1 table spoon

Curry Patha - a few

Turmeric powder - 2 table spoon

Hing - 2 - 3 table spoon

Oil - 2 cups

Vinegar - 1 cup

Salt - to taste


How to make Red lime pickle?

Boil the lime with salt until the skin is soft.

Heat oil in pan, fry mustard and methi, then fry the green masala and curry patha.

Remove from fire, add the rest of the ingredients.

Cool and bottle.

Add a little boiled water if the pickle is too dry.
