MUTTON VINDALOO
INGRIDENTS
Mutton – 500 gm
Potatoes – 225 gm
Tomatoes – 115 gm
Cumin – A pinch
Cinnamon – A small piece
Red Chilly – 5 gm
Mustard Seeds – A pinch
Garlic – A few flakes
Ginger – A small piece
Onion – 30 gm
Salt - To taste
Vinegar – 30 ml
Fat – 30 gm
Method
1.
Clean and cut meat
2.
Grind spices using vinegar
3.
Smear spices on meat and set aside for two or
three hours
4.
Heat fat. Fry meat
5.
Add remaining vinegar and more water if required
6.
When three-fourths done, add potatoes peeled and
cut into quarters and blanched chopped tomatoes. Add salt
7.
Remove when meat and vegetables are tender
